The most exciting "captures" in the camera traps were the ornate eagle and the jaguars mating in front of the camera. Ornate eagles are one of the most majestic birds in the tropics, with a distinctive arrangement of feathers in its head it is easy to spot from far away.

The jaguars were "captured" at Pakitza Park Ranger station and they were not even bothered by the camera trap.

There were other events like the increase of abundance of the elusive jungle rabbit, Sylvilagus brasiliensis, captured this years in three camera traps. In the past years , the cameras recorded this animal maybe once or twice but never three times in one yeas.

Despite of the logistics problems (non contacted indias around the park and extrem rain events) the cameras worked well and the team was optimistic like usual.
